Fortune's Perfect Match by Allison Leigh
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
And then she met a man. No one would ever picture rough-around-the-edges Max Allen with a pampered princess like Emily.
The tall, shaggy-haired airport manager had never caught a break in his life. After he'd lost baby Anthony, he vowed never to love another child. And now he'd fallen hard for a polished, sophisticated woman intent on having a baby. Was Max headed for another heartbreak? Or could the well-heeled Ms. Fortune be the one who finally made him whole?
My Reviews:
Emily Fortune comes from an affluent family; she is the VP of advertising for the family run telecomm company while Max Allen is a small town guy who now works as a manager for Emily’s brother-in-law Tanner.
There is instant attraction between Max and Emily when they meet but Max is hesitant as he doesn’t consider himself worthy of Emily. Emily is at a point in her life where she is ready to have kids; the real conflict here is that having gone through the heartache of losing a child, Max has no intentions being a dad again.
I really liked Emily and Max, they are far from perfect individuals full of insecurities but absolutely perfect for each other.
Fortune’s Perfect Match is a well written addition to the series; a sweet and sexy romance.

Back Cover:
It seemed as if all the Fortunes were finding love-all of them except Emily. Pretty, poised and smart, the oldest Fortune daughter had given up on Mr. Right and was now looking for Baby Right. And then she met a man. No one would ever picture rough-around-the-edges Max Allen with a pampered princess like Emily.
